Gil Rogerson
Hello! My name is Gil and I'm a Lighting and Scenic designer based in Washington, DC. I work mainly in stage plays, although I'm no stranger to a musical. I served as the Technical Director of the GW Shakespeare Company fur the Fall 2024 season and am currently available for engagement. I'm especially good at working in small and found spaces, solving logistical problems, and making the most of any budget. When I'm not designing I'm a skilled carpenter and electrician. I'm an undergraduate student at The George Washington University, where I can regularly be found working on the Corcoran Theatre and Dance department and Student Theatre Council's myriad of productions.
While I'm not in the theatre I'm an amateur photographer, cooking afficionado, and avid cyclist. I love all things outdoors and will never say no to a new adventure. You'll find me this summer as the Electrics Intern at Shenandoah Summer Musical Theatre!
